Making a Complaint to the OIA

Introduction

This section contains information that is particularly useful for students. It gives important information about what you need to do if you would like us to look at your complaint. The interactive 'Complaints Wizard' helps you to understand whether the OIA can look at your complaint. It also suggests what you should do if it is too early to send your complaint to us. Please note that you will need to complete the internal complaints or appeals procedures of the university before we can look at your complaint. Only in exceptional circumstances would we look at a complaint before you have done this.

The Scheme Application Form is the form on which you need to make your complaint. Please note that this Form must be received in our Office within three months of the date of the Completion of Procedures Letter. Please remember to sign the Form.

It may be helpful to check the 'Frequently Asked Questions': you might find the answer to your query here.

'Tips about bringing a complaint to the OIA' gives useful information that you should read before sending us your Scheme Application Form.
