OIA Scheme members

The Higher Education Act 2004 defines those providers  - Qualifying Institutions – which are required to be members of the OIA Scheme. More information about ‘Qualifying Institutions’ is set out in the Guidance on our Rules.

The OIA is also able to extend the Scheme to other bodies, who are not Qualifying Institutions. Please contact us if you would like further information about joining the Scheme in this way.

Below, you can download a list of the higher education providers which are currently members of the OIA Scheme. To quick search this list, please press Ctrl F (on PC) or Command F (on Mac) and start typing the provider’s name.

The list includes information about the membership status of each provider. This will tell you if the provider is a ‘Transitional Institution’ (please read the Guidance on our Rules for more information) and if students have to be on a particular higher education course to complain about the provider (again, more information can be found in the Guidance on our Rules).

To quick search this list, open up the document, then press Ctrl F (on PC) or Command F (on Mac) and start typing your providers name.
